Oil Recipes for Staying Cool During School

October 19, 2018

There's nothing that says "back to school" bolder than the return of the backpack! Brimming with new notebooks, binders, and pens, the backpack signifies a new start and a whole new chapter. It holds the excitement of unlimited opportunity and for some, can also harbor fear.

Whether you're the new student worried about fitting in and keeping up, or you love someone who is, there's relief in essential oils. Turn to the recipes in this month's newsletter for help with boosting immunity, supporting sleep and study, calming the jitters, and waking up on the bright side.

Because of their unique natural properties and powerful individual benefits, blending essential oils can be a bit of both art and science. But not to worry. There's not really a "wrong" way to blend, and with Authentic Essential Oils experimentation is half the fun!

    Mentally Immune

There are volumes written about the emotional benefits of essential oils and how the physical properties each oil presents can have a mirror effect on our psyche.

For example, the seasonal support offered by ESSENTIAL SHIELD can influence both the body and mind.

If your child suffers from bullying, experiences nervousness in large groups, or melts down during class presentations, try applying diluted ESSENTIAL SHIELD to the tops of the feet, knees, abdomen, chest, shoulders, tops of the hands, and forehead.

During application remind your child that he or she is wearing an invisible shield. Ensure that your love, support, and strength is always with them, giving them power and protection over the tough stuff.

If your school allows for fragrance and grants access to backpacks and personal supplies throughout the day, stash a SHINE or REFUGE Roll-on for easy access. They're easy-to-carry, ready-to-use, and can be just the emotional boost your shy student's looking for.

    Tools for Teachers

Though classrooms should be places of learning and uplift, 20 - 30 children in confined quarters can quickly turn the tide. If your school is open to alternative options for healthy learning environments, we love these ideas for teachers. Essential oils can help calm chaos, energize an environment, and bring a refreshing new spirit for grades K to college.
